Bari, January 20, 2026 – The Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Armenia in Bari is pleased to announce the conference “Armenia: The Kingdom of the Screaming Stones” by renowned photographer and filmmaker Iago Corazza.
The event will take place on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at 6:00 PM, in the “Enrico Dalfino” Council Hall of the Bari City Hall (Corso Vittorio Emanuele II, 84). Admission is free and open to the public.
Organized and promoted by the Honorary Consulate, the evening will be introduced by Honorary Consul Dario Rupen Timurian and General Advisor Carlo Coppola, and concluded by journalist and consular staff member Siranush Quaranta.
Having explored over eighty countries and authored works for National Geographic, Iago Corazza offers an immersive journey into the heart of Armenia: a “unlikely” land due to its geography and turbulent history, yet remarkably alive thanks to the pride and resilience of its people. After fourteen expeditions to the country, Corazza has created an innovative multimedia one-man show that transcends traditional linear projections.
Through thematic chapters, powerfully evocative images, and spectacular footage, the audience will engage in real-time interaction, exploring the evolution of human space and the extraordinary beauty of a millennia-old territory. The author, a witness for UNICEF and Emergency, combines artistic aesthetics with a commitment to sustainability and social responsibility – principles that led him to found the Skua Nature Group for environmental protection.
Armenia is presented not merely as a nation wedged between major powers, but as a universal symbol of dignity, memory, and culture: its “screaming stones” continue to bear powerful witness to their presence in world history.
A unique opportunity to discover, through Corazza’s visual art, the enduring identity of a people that has withstood persecution, exile, and forced divisions.
