The Prague Civil Society Centre Fellowship Programme offers civil society leaders, journalists and activists a three-month stay in Prague to think, reset, network, explore new possibilities and work on their projects.

The 2023/2024 fellowships will be held in Prague  in three slots: from 1 October to 31 December 2023, from 1 February to 30 April 2024, and from 1 May to 31 July 2024.

This opportunity is open to journalists, experts, researchers, human rights activists, environmental, cultural, and urban activists, members of non-governmental organisations and civic groups from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine.

The programme will primarily consist of meetings with Czech NGOs and think tanks, workshops on project development and fundraising, experience sharing with other fellows, and individual work on your project.

The projects can be focused on new leadership initiatives, civil sector sustainability, investigations and advocacy, research projects, and anti-war and decolonial initiatives.

The Centre will cover travel expenses, provide accommodation and a small daily allowance for living in Prague, and assist with obtaining a visa. You will also have access to a shared office space with internet and a printer.

The deadline for applications is 15 May.

The Prague Civil Society Centre supports civil society and independent media as key drivers of social change and progress across Eastern Europe and Central Asia. It receives funding from the European Commission, among other donors.
