Cosmo Jarvis, born Harrison Cosmo Krikoryan Jarvis, is set to star as Joseph Stalin in YOUNG STALIN.
The film is based on Simon Sebag Montefiore’s bestseller and charts the early days of Joseph Stalin when he was a bank-robbing gangster in pre-revolutionary Russia. The screenplay is written by Géla Babluani and Simon Sebag Montefiore, and the film will be directed by Géla Babluani.
Set against the backdrop of Imperial Russia’s criminal underworld and revolutionary ferment, YOUNG STALIN will explore the making of the dictator who would reshape the 20th century through terror, war and ideology, and the largest bank heist in Russian history.
Cosmo Jarvis is known for his work on SHŌGUN and will next be seen in Guy Richie’s WIFE & DOG.
