UATE AND MATENA SIGNED MOU TO ENHANCE  WCIT2024/DIGITEC ORGANIZATIONAL EFFORTS

July 15, Yerevan, Armenia –  The Union of Advanced Technology Enterprises of Armenia (UATE) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Matena International School of Leadership & Professional Development. This agreement aims to collaborate on the 2024 World Congress on Innovation Technology (WCIT2024/DigiTec) and enhance the Congress’s overall organization.

Sargis Karapetyan, CEO of UATE, and Ruben Hayrapetyan, Co-founder and CEO of Matena, signed the MoU to unite efforts in bringing together international business and partnership networks to support WCIT2024/DigiTec’s organizational activities.

“WCIT2024/DigiTec” presents a unique opportunity for collaboration with Matena for the execution of the Congress. We see great synergy in the joint efforts of UATE and Matena, which will enhance the organizational activities and bring together international business and partnership networks to Armenia,”-said Hayk Karapetyan, Executive Director of the Organizing Committee of WCIT2024//DigiTec.

WCIT2024/DigiTec will take place from October 4–7, 2024, at the Karen Demirtchian Complex in Yerevan. The Congress will highlight the significance of applied sciences, investments, and the technological presence across various regions and economies focusing on the main headline “THE POWER OF MIND: AI Beyond Limits, Within Ethics.”

The four-day event will showcase a comprehensive high-level program including B2B meetings, the WITSA World Cup (WWC) for scaleups, innovation exhibits, business presentations, workshops, and more. It is designed to attract thousands of local and international delegates with a diverse agenda that caters to various stakeholders. Participants will have the opportunity to explore advanced solutions, best practices, and the latest global ICT developments through interactive seminars and specialized panel discussions.

WCIT2024//DigiTec will survey as a global platform, which aims to:

  • Strengthen the impact of information technology, raising awareness about innovations and the latest developments in AI,
  • Represent Armenia on international platforms and position it as a new technological hub for the region,
  • Promote investments and highlight the importance of ICT solutions in various regions and economies,
  • Showcase the technological potential of Armenia, and beyond, within the framework of the DigiTec Expo, which will serve as the main expo platform for WCIT2024/DigiTec.

The conference agenda includes participants from a wide geographic area, with more than 2,000 international delegates expected to visit Armenia during the event.
