The European Union Delegation to Azerbaijan has announced that a song by a Young European Ambassador from Azerbaijan, Leyla Taghiyeva, has been chosen to represent the global campaign #OurVoiceOurFuture.
The 77th UN General Assembly campaign aims to empower young people to lead change and build a better tomorrow, especially during the European Year of Youth.
Leyla Taghiyeva’s song ‘8 Billion People’ was chosen by the European Union for the campaign.
In her song, the Young European Ambassador from Azerbaijan suggests making peace be more than a dream, rebuilding everything – “Let’s become a team of 8 billion people”.
“This is a hit! Absolutely proud of the very talented Young European Ambassador from Azerbaijan Leyla Taghiyeva”, EU Ambassador to Azerbaijan Peter Michalko wrote on Facebook.
