The entire faithful of the Armenian Church in the UK and I join the people of the United Kingdom and Commonwealth with our prayers for the peaceful rest of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
We pray that the Lord may receive her faithful soul in in His Heavenly Kingdom.
During her long, most fruitful reign, Her Majesty served the United Kingdom with utmost love for the British people and sense of duty to the country. During her most distinguished reign, Her Majesty became a beacon of unity and comfort for the nation. At the most critical times in the life of the British people, she set an example of faith, leadership, strength, resolution and compassion.
As we deeply mourn her passing, we pray that her formidable legacy and the fruits of her service, over the many decades, would serve as a source of comfort for everyone in the world. In the words of the Psalmist: “My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever” (Psalm 73:26).
