On May 18, the delegation of the Italian Parliament arrived in Armenia accompanied by the Head of the RA NA Armenia-Italy Friendship Group Maria Karapetyan and the members of the Group visited
Tsitsternakaberd Memorial Complex. The delegates laid flowers at the Eternal Flame perpetuating the memory of the Armenian Genocide victims and honoured the memory of the Holy martyrs observing a one-minute of silence.
Afterwards the parliamentarians took a tour in the alley of fir trees, visited the Genocide Museum-Institute and got acquainted with the documents certifying the crimes of the Ottoman Empire.
Before leaving the Museum, the parliamentarians of Italy left notes in the Memory Book of Honourable Guests.
