ՀԱՂՈՐԴԱԳՐՈՒԹԻՒՆ
13 Մայիս, 2023-ին հրաւիրուած արտահերթ Միաբանական ժողովը, որուն կը մասնակցէին Սուրբ Երկրի մէջ ծառայող միաբան հայրերը, իր խոր մտահոգութիւնը յայտնեց Մայիս 11-ին հրապարակուած Յորդանանի Հաշիմական Թագաւորութեան եւ Պաղեստինեան կառավարութեան որոշման առնչութեամբ, որով սառեցուած է Երուսաղէմի Հայ Պատրիարք՝ Ամեն․ Տ․ Նուրհան Արք․ Մանուկեանի պատրիարքական ճանաչումը։
Միաբանական Ժողովը առաւել մտահոգ է եւ անակնկալի եկած այն փաստէն, որ այս որոշումը կը յաջորդէ Երուսաղէմի Հայ Պատրիարքի եւ Տնօրէն Ժողովի երեք կարեւոր եւ վճռական որոշումներու.
1) Պատրիարք Սրբազանը 11 Յունուար, 2023-ին Կալուածոց տեսչութեան պաշտօնէն հեռացուց նախկին Պարետ Ծ․ Վարդապետ Երէցեանը,
2) 6 Մայիս, 2023-ին Երուսաղէմի Հայ Պատրիարքի նախագահութեամբ գու-մարուած Տնօրէն Ժողովը միաձայն որոշմամբ կարգալոյծ հռչակեց Պարետ Ծ․ Վարդապետ Երէցեանը,
3) 10 Մայիս, 2023-ին անոր արտաքսեց Սրբոց Յակոբեանց մայրավանքէն:
Կարեւոր է շեշտել, որ Պատրիարք Սրբազանը այս որոշումներն առաւ եւ կամ գործադրեց այն բանէ ետք, երբ համոզուեցաւ, որ կարգ մը հարցերու մէջ Պարետ Ծ․ Վարդապետ Երէցեան չարաչար օգտագործած է անոր վստահութիւնը եւ իրագործած է իր խաբեբայ եւ խարդախ գործընթացը։
Նկատի ունենալով վերոնշեալ բոլոր փաստերը, Միաբանական ժողովը միաձայն կը դիմէ Յորդանանի Հաշիմական Թագաւորութեանը եւ Պաղեստինեան կառավարութեանը կոչ ընելով վերանայիլ իրենց որոշումը եւ չեղեալ նկատել այն, որը մեծապէս պիտի նպաստէ Երուսաղէմի Հայ Պատրիարքին՝ առանց խոչընդոտի ապահովելու Պատրիարքութեան եւ հայ համայնքի շահերը:

Communique
The urgent meeting of the General Assembly of the Armenian Patriarchate of Jerusalem convened on May 13th, 2023—in which the priests of the Brotherhood of St. James serving in the Holy Land were present—expresses its deep concern regarding the decision of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the Palestinian government published on May 11th, by which they decided to freeze the Patriarchal recognition of the Armenian Patriarch of Jerusalem, Archbishop Nourhan Manougian.
The General Assembly is especially concerned and taken aback by the fact that this decision follows three important and decisive moves made by the Armenian Patriarch of Jerusalem:
1) On January 11th, 2023, the Patriarch removed Khachig (formerly Fr. Baret) Yeretsian from his position as the Director of the Real Estate Department.
2) On May 6th, 2023, the Holy Synod, convened under the president of the Armenian Patriarch of Jerusalem, by unanimous decision, declared Fr. Baret Yeretsian defrocked.
3) On May 10th, 2023, he was expelled from the premises of the Convent of St. James.
It is necessary to emphasize that the Armenian Patriarch of Jerusalem made these terminal decisions after discovering Fr. Baret’s exploitation of His Beatitude’s trust, in order to implement his fraudulent and deceitful dealings.
Taking into account all the above-mentioned facts, the General Assembly unanimously appeals to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the Palestinian government to reconsider and retract their decision, where in doing so will greatly help the Armenian Patriarch in securing the interests of the Armenian Patriarchate and its community.
