~ He was born into the family of an immigrant named Emmanuel Agassi, who moved to the United States from Iran. Emmanuel’s father, David Agassian, was born in Kyiv and emigrated to Iran during the civil war, where, fearing Turkish pogroms, he changed his surname to Agassi.
~ During his career, Andre Agassi won 60 singles titles and became an Olympic champion. He was the first man in history to achieve the Career Golden Slam, winning all four Grand Slam tournaments and the Olympic Games in different years.
~ In March 2024, Agassi personally supported a charity match in aid of refugees from Artsakh, organized by Karen Khachanov and Andrey Rublev.
~ Currently, the streaming service Apple TV+ is preparing a large-scale documentary project about the life of Andre Agassi. The multi-part film promises to showcase not only the champion’s remarkable achievements but also a complex journey filled with inner struggles.
