The European Union Delegation to Armenia is supporting the 11th Apricot Tree International Documentary Film Festival, which is taking place in Debed, Armenia.

The Festival opened on 30 August and will close tomorrow, on 6 September. The programme consists of 10 short films and 10 feature films. Six more films are included in special screenings.

“This festival brings filmmakers and locals together in a spirit of hospitality, dialogue, and shared creativity, turning a rural village into a global stage for documentary storytelling,” says a Facebook post by the EU Delegation to Armenia. “The EU is proud to support cultural exchange, free expression, and the voices of diverse filmmakers who inspire conversations that cross borders.”

Established in 2015, the Apricot Tree International Documentary Film Festival is an annual event that throughout its editions has been implemented in various villages in Armenia by the Filmadaran Film Culture Development NGO.
