Thirty chamber and symphonic works that hold an important place in Armenian music have been digitized. This step is a significant contribution to the preservation of Armenian cultural heritage, as the presented works play a key role and are beloved by audiences.
The initiative was carried out by Armenian National Music and hosq.
The works were selected based on their high demand among performers. Special emphasis was placed on the digitization of Avet Terterian’s Symphony No. 3, since this piece served as the foundation of the “Notations” laboratory, around which a large-scale festival was built. The festival was a great success both for the audience and for the participants of the laboratory.
In addition, a professional video recording of another work was also produced.
“With this initiative, we not only preserved some of the most important pages of Armenian music, but also created the opportunity for them to become accessible to new generations. Our goal is for the valuable works of Armenian composers to come alive on stage and continue to inspire both musicians and audiences,” -the initiators note.
