On October 7, at WCIT2024/DigiTec, world-renowned Argentine footballer Lionel Messi’s
brother, Rodrigo Messi, gave a remark. Rodrigo Messi, the CEO of Leo Messi Management

From October 4-7, the most awaited technological event, of the year, WCIT2024/DigiTec, took
place in Armenia with the DigiTec Expo in the Meridian Expo Center. WCIT2024/DigiTec
opening marked with an open-air concert in Yerevan Republic Square, by the Armenian State
Symphony Orchestra conducted by Sergey Smbatyan, followed by an exclusive performance
by American singer and songwriter Jason Derulo. The following three days were full of
speeches and panel discussions on AI at the Karen Demirchyan Sports Complex.
Over four days, the event featured a comprehensive high-level program that included B2B
meetings, innovation exhibits, business presentations, workshops, and more. Under the
headline “THE POWER OF MIND: AI Beyond Limits, Within Ethics,” WCIT 2024/DigiTec
served as a global platform to amplify the impact of information technologies, emphasizing the
importance of applied sciences, investments, and presence across diverse regions and
economies.
