The Cafesjian Center for the Arts (CCA) and Muscari Association Announce the Opening of the Exhibition, Shadi Ghadirian: Retrospective, on October 5, 2018 at 18:00 in Eagle Gallery.
The Cafesjian Center for the Arts and Muscari Association announce the opening of the exhibition, Shadi Ghadirian: Retrospective in Eagle Gallery of the Center, presenting fifty-three works by the famous Iranian photographer. The photographs, in seven series, are shown for the first time in Armenia. Shadi Ghadirian has had exhibitions in Iran, France, Canada, Italy, Belgium, India, USA and in other counties.
“The exhibition’s special focus reveals the artist’s inner world and outlook, through seemingly simple, yet rather profound, visual commentary”, – said Vahagn Marabyan, the Acting Executive Director of CCA.
The RA Ministry of Culture has sponsored the exhibition catalog.
The public dates for the exhibition are October 6 to December 23, 2018.
The admission is free of charge.

The Cafesjian Center for the Arts is dedicated to bringing the best of contemporary art to Armenia and presenting the best of Armenian culture to the world. The Muscari association was created by Manoug Pamokdjian in Lyon in January 2016.
Since its creation, Muscari falls within a cultural and philanthropic approach. Leading many projects in Armenia and France, it contributes to the valorisation and diffusion of the Armenian and French cultures, as well as exchanges between Armenia and France.
In these two countries, Muscari strives for education and a better knowledge of peoples, cultures and languages through various cultural events, such as art exhibitions, concerts, film festivals, book edition, etc.
